Sales Office Administrator

The role & responsibilities

  • Liaise, support and sell products to existing and prospective customers through telephone and email channels with some on site visits where appropriate.
  • Interpret, produce and process orders with consistent accuracy and within tight timescales.
  • Establish and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer concerns and complaints to maximise satisfaction whilst recognising the needs of the business.
  • Maintain positive communication and relationships with other departments to ensure the smooth processing of orders through to delivery to the customer.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Impeccable organisational skills
  • trong pc skills in a range of systems, including MS Office functions. A knowledge of Sage 200 and website administration is an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
  • High personal motivation and an ability to embrace and achieve goals
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Time management and organisation skills
  • An ability to deal with customer complaints and conflict and prioritise sound solutions that meet the needs of the customer and the business
  • Proven record of establishing strong relationships and ongoing relationship management skills

 

Sewing Machinist

The role & responsibilities

  • High level of knowledge of sewing techniques for a wide variety of products and styles.
  • Knowledge of a variety of industrial sewing techniques
  • A high degree of machining skills, including lockstitch, overlock, twin needle, top stitch and piping and elastic machines

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working with industrial sewing machines
  • Have the ability to switch from one order to another quickly and efficiently.
  • Thorough knowledge of multiple sewing techniques, garment construction, manufacturing processes
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards at all time
  • Be hardworking & reliable
  • A 'can do', positive attitude
  • The ability to work as part of a team, involving other Quality Checkers, sales, dispatch and machinists.
  • The ability to work efficiently to enable orders to go out on time but without compromising on the quality of their work
  • Operate on different stations as and when required.
  • Willing to take on new challenges.
  • Communicative level of English
  • Be available to work 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 12.30 pm Fridays
